Rock carvings 7

These rock carvings are from the Bronze age and we have quite a few places in Scandinavia where these carvings appear. The older kind of carvings that dates back to the Stone age are mostly found further north while here in the south these symbols of boats and ships, animals, cups and fotsteps are common.

This is taken in Torhamn, Blekinge. About 30 minutes drive form where I used to live. Pretty amazing history sites open for the public and they are finding more of these rock carvings in that same area at the moment buried beneath moss and trees in the rocks.
